Privacy policy

Updated October 20263 min read

This policy explains what personal information we collect through pratura.io, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices and rights you have. We keep it short and specific to what this website actually does.

01

Who we are

Pratura (“Pratura”, “we”, “us”) is a sales development agency serving businesses in Canada, Belgium, France and internationally. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

This policy follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and, for visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

02

Information we collect

When you contact us through the website form, we collect:

  • Your name, company and work email address
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it
  • The service you're interested in and your preferred language
  • The content of your message
  • The site language and region you were using

When you browse the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site securely. We use your country (derived from your IP address) only to show you the right regional version of the site; we do not store it.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies at this time. If we introduce them, they will only run with your consent and this policy will be updated first.

03

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Reply to your enquiry and schedule a strategy call
  • Prepare a proposal if you ask for one
  • Manage our business relationship if you become a client
  • Keep the website secure and working properly

For visitors in the EU, our legal bases are your consent (for the contact form), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a secure website. We never sell personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

04

Cookies and local storage

We only use what the website needs to work and to remember your choices:

You can review or change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, or by clearing your browser's storage.

05

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Website hosting and delivery (Vercel)
  • Email delivery for contact-form messages (Resend)
  • Image delivery for photographs shown on the site (Unsplash)

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

06

International transfers

Our providers may process information outside your province or country, including in the United States. When information leaves Canada or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, and we assess the protection offered as required by Law 25.

07

Retention and security

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last exchange, unless the law requires otherwise. We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and providers that maintain recognised security certifications.

08

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete it, or to stop or limit its use
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Receive your information in a structured, commonly used format
  • Object to processing based on our legitimate interests

To exercise these rights, email us. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority: the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, the Belgian Data Protection Authority or the CNIL in France.

09

Children

This website is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
